What you can expect from DomainOverseer, and what we expect in return.
Last reviewed 2026-08-21
The service
DomainOverseer reads from the providers you connect and presents what it finds. It is an observation tool. It does not change anything in your provider accounts, and it is not a registrar, a mail client, a security information and event management platform, or a substitute for the provider dashboards themselves.
Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us, for the domains you add, and for the access you authorize. Only connect accounts you are entitled to connect. Keep your email address current, because it is how you sign in and how we reach you about security and billing.
Each person owns one workspace in version 1 and may be invited into others. Workspace owners control billing, membership, connections, and deletion.
Acceptable use
- Do not add domains you have no relationship with in order to monitor someone else's site.
- Do not use the service to attack, overload, or probe systems you do not run.
- Do not attempt to reach data belonging to another workspace.
- Do not resell the service as your own without a written agreement.
Billing
Free costs nothing and has no time limit. Pro is $29 per month or $290 per year. Studio is $79 per month or $790 per year. Prices are per workspace and exclude any tax that applies where you are. There is no paid trial in version 1.
Payment is handled by our payment processor on their own hosted pages. Card details never reach our servers.
Plan changes
Moving to a larger plan, or from monthly to annual on the same plan, takes effect once the prorated invoice is paid. Until that payment succeeds you keep the plan you already had. A failed card or an abandoned confirmation never grants the larger plan.
Moving to a smaller plan, or from annual to monthly, is scheduled for the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not issue automatic mid-period refunds.
Failed payments
If a renewal fails, you keep your paid features for seven days while we retry, with a visible banner and an email. Repeated failures do not extend that window. After it passes, everything already collected stays visible and readable, and paid syncing, alert delivery, exports, scheduled reports, and new invitations pause until billing is resolved.
Cancellation
You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the period you have paid for. Cancelling does not delete your data. If you want the data gone, delete the workspace, which is a separate and deliberate action.
Going over a limit
We never delete domains to enforce a limit. Domains beyond your plan move to a clearly explained paused state and you choose which ones stay active. Members beyond a seat limit are suspended rather than removed, and you choose who remains.
What we do not promise
- We do not promise a specific uptime figure for your sites or for ours. Our availability checks are single-service checks from one place, and we label them that way.
- We do not promise that a connected provider will expose a particular dataset. Provider plans and APIs change, and when something becomes unavailable we say so rather than showing a zero.
- We do not promise that a measurement is complete. Sampling, thresholding, truncation, and processing delay are provider behaviors, and we show them rather than hiding them.
- We do not promise a support response time until we have an operation that can meet one.
Liability
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that materially affects you, we will email workspace owners before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means the new terms apply.
